BadA$$ - Wild Wednesday
Morning all,
I thought I'd kick it off today. Since I get to the office 7:00 AM EST. My pics are in, finally.
Yesterday, did 30 mins of HIIT on the treadmill followed by 30 reg mins on the elliptical. I think I hit 9's yday. Hoping to hit 10's on Thurs. This afternoon, hitting Shoulders, bi's and Tris.
Brit, sorry to hear about your uncle. My Condolances. Finding out on Facebook is not the best way.

Good morning! I must admit, this has been kinda an "Off" week for me so far. Monday I was suffering from sinuses, so I napped after work and went for a run Monday night. Yesterday I had only 30 minutes in the gym, so crammed in an UBWO the best I could. Today will be HIIT and LB. Eating has been clean, I just don't feel like my workouts have been that spactacular.
Rich: good job getting those pics in. and, You men are tearing up the cardio this week with and hour or more of HIIT!

Good morning everyone! Not too much going on in my world today. Well, other than my little boy turning 6 months old and finding a tooth about to pop through. Double whammy! He's growing up way too fast.
Food was super clean yesterday and I got in my UBWO and LBWO. For some reason I've never really done squats, and I did them yesterday and my legs are KILLING me today! I think I've found my new favorite exercise! I have HIIT planned for later today and plan on doing a little extra cardio on the treadmill as well.
Rich--Nice job on the cardio!
Erik--How do you like your spin class? I've always wanted to try one.
Katie--It sounds like you're doing a great job with everything going on this week!

Hey team! Fly by post for me AGAIN! Working at my 'other' job today and tomorrow and then that's it for this contract.
Sharilyn, I asked yesterday but haven't checked to see if you answered late last night - you in for the team challenge?
I said I'd get on last night but instead, left my laptop in it's nice little bag for a change. Got in a good workout - 45 minutes HIIT/LIST mix and a UBWO.
Today, eats are really clean - and almost all gone already!!! I forgot a couple things in my lunch due to morning rush. I might skip out for a non-fat latte a little later if I really feel gnawing hunger.
DH and I have a wake to go to tonight, a family friend's dad passed away. He's heading home early to make dinner - guess I'll be eating whatever he makes! He's usually quite health-conscious but I haven't told him I'm doing another challenge. Who knows what'll be on the menu!
Rich, glad you started the thread!
Erik, way to double up those workouts. Don't burn yourself out but if you can keep it up, a little extra fat burning can be a good thing.
Hi Katie, I hear you - that was my week last week. I 'restarted' to get my head (and butt) back in the game. If it wasn't a 12 week challenge, I'd have just kept on going but thought I might as well put in maximum effort and know that I did my very best.
Hey Sharily! Squats are my absolute FAVE exercise!!! They really do shape your rear-end REALLY WELL. The crazy DOMS will get better after a couple weeks. Your body will get more used to those sorts of exercises and it won't hurt quite so badly. You're likely experiencing what is called 'potty flop' right now. That's where you try to lower yourself to the potty and kinda fall the last bit. Enjoy!
Congrats on the 6month mark. I can barely remember those days... take lots of pics!!

Good Afternoon Team!!!
So far so good today for me. I still have to get in my UBWO but eats have been clean and on time.
Rich- Your before pictures look like some after pictures. Can't wait to see them in 12 weeks.
Erik- I love spin class. I haven't done one in years but I think I may start again.
Sharilyn- You should definitely try a spin class. And, I love squats too. I think they are my favorite exercise. Be careful because the DOMS can be severe.
Katie- I know once you are feeling better you will tear it up. Your first challenge was amazing.
Heidi- Thanks for organizing everything. You are a great leader. Oh, and your website is awesome. You are talented for sure. Do you sell your paintings?
Brittani- Sorry to hear about your uncle. Boy times have changed in terms of social networking. Somethings should just be off limits.

Hi All, The walk of shame. Wanted to pop in and once again see if I can join your team.
I have been off and on with Body for Life. My name is Shona and I once again I am one who is a starter but not a finisher. SO ..with that I would like to be a part of this team..mostly for accountability. I had a work out buddy but she fizzed out on me.
I am a wife, a Mother of busy 11 year old twins. I work part time as a Pre-school teacher and love to play tennis.
I am pretty healthy. I have bad knees (surgery on my ACL after the wear and tear with tennis and 2 marathons. I want to do it all, but at times get ovrwhelmed. BALANCE is what I am looking for.
I am on day 3 with BFL and want to be a part of a team and give support and offer support.
Okay enough said.....some of you may remember me. I did take pics and will post soon. Thanks for letting me share....

On phone-- took anatomy midterm this morning and want to do lbwo then sit in a corner to reflect on the test... Ugh. Clean today, I'm done at 4 then I'll go home, eat then do my lbwo. I'm playing dodgeball tonight-- good cardio.

Rich - Thanks for starting us off today! Your before pics look great... You are a Bad A$$ Mother!!! Watch out in 12 weeks you're gonna be ripped! Great job on killing your workouts this week too!
Erik - I too LOVE the spinning classes. I've been really busy lately, but I hope to spin at least couple days a week. You had me cracking up with your response to Heidi yesterday. Have you ever read the Chuck Norris Facts? Hilarious!
Katie - I'm having a kind of off week too. Tue & today I'm not able to get my workout in, but I'm going to make it up over the weekend! From yesterday... Great goals. I know once you finish this 12 weeks this will be your lifestyle!
Sharilyn - Great job with the clean eats and exercise! I'm so happy you found squats. You are going to be so addicted to them and your butt is going to thank you for it! Wow your little guy is 6 months old that is such a great baby age! I hope he's not too cranky with the teething.
Heidi - Hey! You gotta tell DH you are doing a challenge sister! You need his support... who knows maybe he'll join you Thanks for getting our team stuff together for the contest. I know you are super busy and our team board is blowing up! Gotta love the energy!
Mel - It's great to see you back it's been a while. I'm glad to hear you are doing the challenge with us keep up the great workouts and clean eats! You're gonna do great with your 5k. I really need to sign up for a race too!
Nathan - Welcome to the team! I can totally relate to your story. We too have hit the "reset" button on our lives. Is this your first challenge? You are going to rock it and it's going to change your life!!
As for me... I'm babysitting again today. I left the house at 7:30 this morning and I probably won't get home until 6:30 tonight. I packed my cooler last night, so I have plenty of food today. Eats have been clean, but I've missed my workout the past two days, so I'm going to make it up over the weekend instead of having a day off. I hate doing that, but that's just how it had to be for me this week.
I think I told you guys about my friend who I inspired to buy the book a couple of weeks ago. She was telling me she weighed around 130 and I told her if she just committed for 1 week she would be under 130. Well she just emailed me and is 128, AND she has officially started her first challenge. I'm so excited for her and it also gives me a BFL buddy at my gym too. She's been lurking around on tracker and may join the team too!

Becky..wow ..your down the street from me. I remember when you were packing up. You have done such a great job, making BFL a part of your lifestyle Good for you.
Heidi....I would love to be in the team challenge. Just tell me if I AM in and what to do.....as long as I have others counting on me I can do it. When its just me.....HMMMMMM.
Its such a beautiful sunny, but cool day here. OFF from teaching and had a tennis lesson and picked up more veggies and fruit for the rest of the week.
Hubby is away on a business trip till late Saturday I actually eat better when he is not around. GET MORE ACCOMPLISHED TOO. I don't know why. Okay off to play more tennis..... Gotta practice what I just learned. Shona Bye for now

I have to leave for dodgeball in an hour... and my legs are throbbing.. the pain! (secretly enjoying the numb pain in my quads.
Well, really not much to say today. Clean eats, maybe a little low on cals due to time strains, but still clean. I just drank a shake with 1/2 cup of dry oats in it.. im hoping I recover in time to be able to do some dodging without just falling over.
Heidi and Britt (Canada peeps)- I've been interested in a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever for quit a long time now but there aren't any breeders in Louisiana. Know of any good ones your area? I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask .
Just Heidi- Sorry for slow pics, camera card is messed up, so I'm getting one while im out and taking my pics. SORRY :|

Thanks everyone for the warm welcoming.. Heidi-- I would love to be part of the challenge, let me know what you need from me. Miss-This is actually my third attempt, I first tried in 2000 and fell short at about 6 weeks in, I attempted it again in 2004 and when my schedule at work changed I allowed that to be an easy excuse...I have re-read the book and discovered the one thing I never did before was to write down my goals and place them in places for me to see regularly... What a huge inspiration it is, I feel 100% on track this time..
Keep your eye on the prize-------and understand the true prize has no monetary value.......

Hey all. Been a while since I've posted on here, but I'm starting an "official" challenge on Monday. I've been eating super clean for the last 7 weeks, but work outs have been really lame. I'll have pics and stuff up Sunday night.
