Back to where I started.

2008 I did the body for life program and lost almost 40 pounds. I then quit. I thought oh im done now i made it and just stopped an over the past two years I have went back to where I started. Its depressing to say the least but I blame no one but myself. So now I must start again which isnt fun. So advice to anyone currently doing or just finishing body for life. Be careful its easy to fall into your old habits. dont take a break get right back on it an do another 12 weeks, because for me im gonna repeat the first 12 before I can see what would have happened if I didnt quit.

We all reset to zero i just want it to take a little longer.

You are not alone in your struggles. I made my most profound progress during the "rest" I would take between challenges.

To you and anyone else either returning after a long hiatus or just finishing up a challenge. Give yourself 2 weeks to rest up and then get right back in the saddle. Lots of folks do better with just 1 week.

Do this routine over and over until you've figured out what your true food issues or slacker issues are.

I'll tell you from experience, the old ways are so much easier and the food tastes really good. But I literally SUCKED at my old life and want no part of it.

You have to be willing to have the courage to make permanent changes which can likely include friendships and relationships with people who don't want you to change because THEY are insecure.

You'll be back in the groove in no time!
