Morning team! I guess Val is too tired to get us started this morning :-) Heidi is probably working out somewhere so I will kick it off! Nothing like a good relapse to start off a good challenge :-( I feel like I'm confessing my sins, I had million things to do last night so I was running all over town. The last activity was to change a flat tire on my wife's car, luckily it was in a dark parking garage below her building in the boiling heat with no airflow. I was completely sweaty, covered in brake dust and car grime and still in my work clothes so I decided to have a beer afterward. Dinner was still clean, salmon and steamed broccoli, but still disappointed about the whole thing. I will make it up this weekend but I definitely want to get rid of those tendancies all together!

Well I didn't mean to start the day on a downer note, is everyone excited for their long weekend?!

Owen - it's good you want to rid yourself of that, but unless you plan on never having another beer in your life, just treat like what it was. It was one beer at the end of a hectic night. Total damage, about 100 calories. Not a big deal. Scale back your free day and you've more than made up for it.

As for your post yesterday, the diet really is key. Regardless o fyour fitness goals, be it to build muscle, lose fat, or both, diet is at least 75% of the equation. You need to workout, supplement and rest to get the best possible results, but without the diet, you probably wont get any results.

Morning Fellas.

Owen ill one up you from last night. 2 bellinis, shared crab&artichoke dip and shared apple crisp totalling 1878 cals. ew. that means this girl is only having a free night on saturday and is doing yoga and running tonight. I went to Joeys with a girl friend last night and intended on only drinking coffee... that went out the window quickly. We all have slip ups, its called being human.

as for me eats were 100% yesterday other than that slip up and i got in a good hour run outside.

today eats will be SQUEAKY CLEAN and i've got yoga at 330 and a run immedietly following it. tomorrow the boy n i have a wedding to attend (yawn) then sunday and monday we don't really have anything planned. how annoying is it when people have weddings on long weekends. I really think its super selfish haha ruins my whole weekend.

Hi guys.  Yeah I made it home about 2AM, then up at 6 for LBWO, then back to sleep.

So far eats this whole week are clean.  I'm very much a creature of habit so the week isn't the problem.  The problem is libations on the weekends.  We'll see.

Hey Ya'll! I have been very hit and miss lately. I was out of work (and workouts) this week with strep throat...uugghh, it just sucks to be sick! I haven't worked out since last Sat. Back at work today, just in time for the long weekend, and have my gym bag packed. I feel like a big fat fatty!!! Can't wait to get on the treadmill and hit a few weights!

Glad to see everyone! Enjoy your long weekend! I am hoping to be back into a regular routine next week and will be back here for accountability.

Hi All,

I'm not posting as much as I should. However, still hitting the gym as often as I can. Yesterday, I was able to complete Shoulders bi's and tri's. Feeling great this morning. Turning 40 is not that bad. Putting all those 20 somethings at the gym to shame. Seems like I'm the old man on this team. LOL. Can't wait to get out of work this afternoon, heading to Hershey PA for the weekend. I'm not a chocolate sweets person, so I'm not worried about indulging in sweets while I'm there.

Owen, no worries bro, its just a beer. Sometime, we all need a beer for our own mental health. I indulge occasionally.

Val, only 4 hours of sleep before a LBWO, you are brave.

Brit, I like the profile pic! is that from your houseboat vacation. Awesome view. Glad to see you are still into the Bikram yoga. Keep at it'

Katie, sorry you have strep. I hope you feel better. Kick some A$$ during your workout.

Hi Team!

Working away here.  Workout this morning was SO not inspiring.  Couldn't get my energy up and WAKE UP.  Yesterday's AM run was AWESOME and I ran faster and harder than ever before.  What's the dealio with that???  Oh well, it's only one workout.  Will more than make up for it being 'meh' by this time next week!

As of tomorrow I am 8 weeks out from the comp date.  EEEK!  No messin' around now, that's for darned sure.  I'm tired but am thoroughly enjoying the transformations my body is making rapido, rapido! 

Em, if you check in, I'm wearing a pair of pants you gave me... and they're loose!!!! hahaha!  Oh yeah, un huh.  Who'd have thunk...  me in size 4s easily... hahaha!  Obviously not me or I wouldn't be surprised.

Katie, I've had strep so many times, totally feel for you.  Hope you're well on the way to recovery now. 

Brittani - ah well on the 'oops' - you've got the right attitude, keep it clean the rest of the time and s'all good.

Owen, so glad you were there for your wife.  What a scary spot for a flat!  And one beer is NOT the end of the world.  Having a pitcher of beer with a couple orders of wings and nachos would have been an issue.   PERFECTION isn't what we're after here.

Ok, gotta jet.  Only a half day at work before the long weekend and I need to get some stuff done.
