Good morning!!  I'm off to zumba pretty soon, back to hang with the family before the babysitter comes over for the afternoon.  Tonight we have Xmas presents to wrap for Sunday and the inlaws coming over.  I HATE wrapping presents, so DH was told he already has to wrap more and the awkward-ly shaped ones since they're HIS parents.

Have a super Saturday!!!!

Erika - I think its CRAZY you are STILL having Christmas gatherings Our family is so small that we finish everything in 1 day My 3 DD's come over one day & we have a dinner & present exchange & we're done Thats it, nothing else!

I am so happy you get to go on a date with DH this afternoon! I so can't wait to try Zumba! I'm going to be so ready to try it by the time I get to exercise again.

Nicole - I talked to Betsy yesterday & she just cracks me up because she talks about a drive to or from KC like its a 30 minute drive

I know you have a lot going on today but I don't remember everything......you don't have any cooking going on do you? Maybe me, you & Betsy just need to have a freezing morning cooking bash when I get out, what do you think? I can't wait to stock pile my freezer!

My one bible study (God's Girls) had started the P.I.N.K. diet & now they're doing just a healthy eating thing, sounds like alot of fun. We're not really exercising just healthy eating I think healthy eating is just as important as exercising.

Dee - you have a track meet today don't you? Chisel? Anything else going on this weekend?

KW - working this weekend, right? What shift do you work when you work the weekends & remind this old chemo brain again WHAT you do for a living? Do you prepare your food ahead for just yourself or the weekend or do you prepare for the entire familay?

Katie - where are you hiding out? REALLY missing you!

Talked to Isaiah on the phone for about 30 minutes this morning & he couldn't stress how much he missed me & missed my cooking! Its great to be needed/wanted He wanted me to give him a recipe for a slow cooker breakfast for tomorrow before church. Makes my heart swell that my children/grandchildren enjoy health, this is something I never grew up with.

I grew up with fats, fried foods, gravies anything bad! I'm just excited that I'm making a change in our family!

anyone on Pinterest PLEASE send me an invite! I've been using my DD's acct & I think it will be easier to look up stuff on my own.

Dee - those inside out carrot muffins look really good.

I so want to be home by next weekend cuz DH always puts a little superbowl thing out after church. He usually have little sandwiches & dips done up by the time I get home & then we'll watch game (well me, my momo, Isaiah watch the game) I know this year I won't be able to to much BUT I'll be able to do something. I REALLY want to try this popper recipe BUT it is way too soon for that.

Isaiah's teacher fell down her basement stairs so I'm going to make her a PB pie when I get home so he can take it over. He loves RAK as much as I do! I really hope he continues this into his adult years because if he does he's gonna be an AWESOME hubby

Babysitter did great! No crying kids and I lived through it as well.  I could get used to this

Ok, we have presents to wrap and food to cook--all while enjoying a drink.

Conni--I LOVE you talking about food and Isaiah!  Our family isn't too big, but I can only handle some of my DH's family in small, spread out doses so this works out better.  Plus, they come here--so no hauling the kids and no smoky, cramped unfriendly kid spaces, so I am much happier and stress-free.  You know it's all about me, right?

Ok, gotta get to work!

good late-evening! Yes, I worked today and again tomorrow. I was at the gym by 7:30 and then to work by 9. I had a good UBWO followed by a day of good eats. Went to see Joyful Noise lastnight. DD picked a local burger/fries place for dinner so guess what I had? yup, a burger and fries )))eye roll((( Wasn't my proudest moment this week, but it sure was delish! Movie was good, but a fair amount of language. DD isn't use to foul words. Guess that's part of a PG-13 movie.

Erika: I am so glad the sitter worked out good! Maybe you and DH could make a monthly date night? (It's good for the ole marriage). have fun with the inlaws tomorrow. I can't imagine still having to exchange Christmas. We are alot like Conni....done in a day. Are you cooking for everyone? Magazines came yesterday. Thank you soooo much! I feel bad you spent so much on shipping. I'll send you a "southern" happy in return

Conni: I work at the Children's Hospital and I am an Occupational Therapist. I work primarily with trauma patients (head injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries) but some developmental delays and Hematology/oncology too. I cook on Sunday and package everything in individual containers for the week. I usually make too much, so DH will take some for lunch too. My oldest (8 1/2) will try anything and my baby (5) will try nothing. So I usually try to cook simple dinner meals like a meat, veggie, adult-salads and maybe a potato. I enjoy cooking and it is a fun challenge to figure out how to make an unhealthy meal healthy. So sweet that Isiah turns to you for cooking advice. Does he get to come to the hospital to visit? Sounds like he is really missing you!

Well, time to get this old body moving towards the bed.

Catch ya'll tomorrow!

FW - sounds like you have things under control when you're at work My DH told me today they only follow my menu planner a few days then with everyones busy schedules they didn't have time to follow as closely as I would like But hey atleast its there for them. Hope your weekend is going well

Erika - I can see you having a very hard time letting the kidlets go with someone else! So happy you had a good time. DH & I decided we WILL be having once a month datenights WITHOUT Isaiah!

Well dr started me with stage 1 of my graft vs host diet but I decided to take it a little slower & only add the 1/2 of a banana & some of the applesauce. Enjoying some jello right now She is VEY impressed with where I am with the disease & said I'm actually ahead of most people. DH admitted to me that when I cam here a few weeks ago he thought I'd given up my fight & was very happy to see where I am now.

Looks like 1 more week atleast in the hospital because they need to get me off ALL the IV antibiotics & nutrition so I could go faster BUT I'd rather go slower & NOT have to return! We will take it minute by minute rather than day by day! I'm really getting acxious for real food though. I can put crackers in my broth now Oh the little things I'm allowed 1/2- 1 Cup of pasta with 1/2 tsp. butter & I'd rather not mess with butter & I can have 1/2 bagels, muffins slice of bread & such but again I CHOSE to go slowly! Maybe I'll get to come home a week later but thats ok too I will be the turtlte & I WILL come out of this race ahead

Tired & don't feel like spell checking.... gonna take a quick Sunday nap
