Hey all

Connie - def slow and steady wins the race, think of it as a weights training session - you could pound through it going fast and heavy but if the form isn't right it's all a big ole waste of time. Honey this the the gym session of your life and you are a gun

Erika - so happy the sitter went well!! I would be as nervous as all heck leaving kids with someone I didn't know, you are very brave Good luck with the in-laws!

FW - How old is your DD?

Hey everyone else!!

I've got kids friends coming over for plays today - hopefully they all play nicely and not damage each other!

Hubbie and I went mountain bike riding yesterday - a couple of hours of solid hills, stinking hot weather and some great bonding. Whilst I wish I could say I was hard core - I'm not, I don't like it too fast, too steep or corners too tight - maybe if my riding skills improved somewhat but until then I remain a slow ole girly girl in the mountain biking world

Schelle - you are so right with my life! hope the kiddies behaved!

I kind of chuckle because when my children were young & I was a single parent I had no choice but allow a sitter watch them! CRAZY how things have changed over the decades!!!

Connie - they are ragbags - when they are with the in laws there is no pretending they are good - they truly let their colours shine , when they are with friends (not family) they pretend they are lovely children and save their true colours for me - I always prefer family as I don't cop the backlash afterwards. I am lucky enough to have family around who can assist me with taking them off my hands - if I didn't have them I would either be using a sitter or sitting in the looney bin
